Counselling Intern, Low-Cost Therapy

I am graduating soon and my fees are increasing in May and then again when I’m registered.

If you’re a non-status Indigenous person, sessions with me are pay-what-you-can.

Hi! I’m a settler here in Victoria on the unceded lands of the Lekwungen (Songhees & Esquimalt) peoples. I’m a student at the University of Victoria where I am completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I provide low-cost virtual sessions under the supervision of our clinical director and trainer, Anja Hess, RCC #18489.

I’m here to provide a supportive presence for whatever you’re going through. I use a person-centered approach, which means that I believe you are the expert in your own life and experiences. I draw on interventions from various modalities such as interpersonal therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy.

Here are a few experiences I can help you with:

  • Relationships

  • Self-Compassion

  • Anxiety Symptoms

  • Depression Symptoms

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Symptoms

  • Body Image

  • Life Transitions

  • Career Exploration

  • Grief and Loss

  • Shame and Self-Worth

  • Self-Care and Sleep

  • Sexuality and 2SLGBTQIA+ Experiences

  • And more!

In my free time, I love to read, run, and bake gluten-free treats. I also love art and enjoy incorporating it into counselling sessions. I would love to connect so I can get to know you!

Portions of sessions with me will be securely recorded and reviewed by my supervisor, Anja Hess, RCC, then deleted. Anja’s license number is 18489.
